May be I’m sometimes biased. I rate movies depending on the feeling that I get after watching them than the content in it.
“Ye Maya Chesave” a movie, which may remind some people of their lovers, better-halves and the memorable moments they would have spent with them. But for some others it will instill in their minds a feeling “Is love so beautiful?“ .
I sometimes tend to give equal importance to music as well as lyrics in a song. I have been spending last few days with this movie songs. The lyrics are so true and good and very neatly penned by Anant Sreeram, which explain the story a bit.
The music of these songs is so melodious and so touching. Though, I don’t understand the Malayalam bit of the song. The way of singing makes you feel the guy’s pain or hard feelings.
When I started watching this movie, I didn’t feel anything new or special as I have been with the film for quite some days. It makes you feel-good while watching the movie as it makes you feel-good while listening to the music. Though the climax can be guessed, the way of presenting it is superb. It shows how stronger the bond has developed between the lovers in their time of separation. The movie made my day.
